Hi to all,
Thank goodness Cheltenham got the go ahead today after 3 inspections .I somehow managed to navigate around all the non runners and general chaos to get the Placepot up to the tune of £5700(4.8x).It can only go downhill from here to the end of the year-that's for sure!!

Today the sun came out from hiding. What a difference it makes to Newmarket. The horses were full of themselves. Being a Monday had to hang on. So good to see horses and riders in such good form. After a not cold but very wet winter.
Round the corner we have the Guineas. There is a lot to look forward to. The horses we broke in last year are now three years old and !! Who knows how they will shape up.There are one or two that I will have my eye on. This is what makes the work so rewarding. To se…

Today the
racing post featured the site in their Net Prophets section (Page 11, 24/03/09) which I think gave a balanced view of the site, and don't forget that this is your site so it changes every minute and the comment about it being somewhat clutt…

The 8th Race at Beulah was supposed to go a lot smoother than it did yesterday.
Nowakezone looked like a seasoned veteran before the race as he marched along the post parade with his long tail trailing behind him. He walked into the gate like he'd done it a thousand times before. He waited patiently for the bell to ring and for the iron gates to swing open. Then it all fell apart.
Nowakezone was smashed into by the horse breaking from his inside not once but twice. The jockey did h…

Horse racing is one of the most ancient sports with the nomadic tribesmen of Central Asia racing horses since early domestication and horse racing has long been an organised sport in many countries throughout history.
Horse racing as a professional sport in the UK can be traced back to the 12th Century after the English knights returned from the Crusades with Arab horses. These horses were bred with English horses to produce the Thoroughbred horse that is the breed of horse used in horse racing…

Nowakezone by
Greenwood Lake out of
Captivate by
Gold Fever worked out again yesterday. His streak of back to back bullet works was broken as he ranked 2nd at the distance.
Nowakezone did not race as a 2yo, however, his works have been sharp early in his 3yo campaign and we expect him to be making his debut shortly. Stay tuned for more information!

As we get closer to the foaling dates for the four mares, we have to start thinking about names for the new arrivals. In fact, I am predicting that
Surprise Audit will have her baby within the next ten days. Everyone knows that Karie and I are big fans of somehow incorporating the sire and dam into the foal's name. Here is the run down of who is in foal to who:
Surprise Audit is in foal to
Perfect Circle.
Perfect Circle will be a lot easier to use than some of the st…
